Good morning dear SARA family and friends,
We give thanks to God every day for your continued support . The Ukraine emergency fund is still open for further gifts. The total amount raised since the war began has exceeded $100,000. SARA’s finance committee diligently transferred most of these gifts to our Executive Director, The Rev.Dr. David Pandy-Szekeres in Hungary. He distributed them to the designated sites and healthcare organizations.
It is with a heavy heart that I post the news that one of our oldest and dearest directors has passed away. Dear Larry Kuhn, a former El Salvador diretor, passed away last week. Larry was a good friend to all he met.
Our prayers of comfort to his family, especially his beloved Hungarian wife, Anne.
Our vice-President and Eucmenical director, Lana Sakash, was with her sister Beverly, when Beverly smiled and said goodbye to her earthly family. Prayers of comfort for that family and Lana also.
