My dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

A recent post by our Heartland Conference, stated that many donations to charitable organizations come in on December 31.

The SARA Board of directors is urging you to donate to the Ukraine emergency Fund and the Gummies Fund NOW.  There are no administrative fees for SARA, all serve as volunteers

With the current escalation of war tactics  in Ukraine, even in the areas we serve, your gifts are more urgently needed.

The Good Samaritan Children’s Home, St. Michael’s Home and the Children’s Hospital in Mukachevo/Munkacs are in need of tools to prepare for not only the conflict, but harsh winters in this area.

Dr. Oksana Jackson, Pediatric Oral Surgeon of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia has made numerous trips;  her mission is  to provide extensive training to the SARA affiliates and medical teams at the hospital.  This hospital relies on many non-profits for support.  Their medical staff, many trained in the US, is on call 24 hours.  The whole area witnesses  air raids, loss of vital utilities such as electricity and water.  They deliver intense care to the  wounded children.  Some of these US trained physicians also provide services to the city and county hospitals.

The Bethel Hofer Clinic and the Luke Clinic, SARA projects of the past, still serve the communities, but they too are limited not by dedicated SARA physicians, but by the above mentioned barriers.

We give thanks for your many prayers, your continued support and our Board of Directors;  they too are heroes to the many citizens in Transcarpathia.

Please send your gifts to:
